I’m a 35 year old footy loving politics addict who loves to write and discuss the issues of the day and on ocassion write fraught posts about my rather silly love life. This blog is going to focus on Politics and Passion with the ocassional Portland Timbers and Arsenal (my two clubs) comments thrown in.
Work wise I have been a political ‘professional’ for almost 10 years here in Oregon. In 1998 I ran the Vote by Mail campaign that brought our unique 100% mail ballot into affect. Since then I have run several campaigns for our Secretary of State and have been involved in various environmental and transportation organizations as a lobbyist and advisor. Right now I am communications and public affairs consultant.
I live in the greatest city in America – Portland, Oregon with my dog Cooper and my crazy ass roomate Barnacle Brian.
